Notre Dame Runs In As Winners

Notre Dame Prep Sweeps the board at the ERPSSA District Cross Country Championships

The School reports that:
Recently, at Cardinal Newman School Notre Dame Prep competed against ten other schools at the District Cross Country Championships.

Out of nine possible medals the all girls’ school took away seven, which beats their previous best of five.

In years 4, 5 and 6 Notre Dame ran away with the three age group trophies. Incredibly, in the Year 6 event Notre Dame pulled off an extraordinary feat by having runners finish first, second, third and then fourth, fifth, sixth.

Kia Nielsen, in her fifth year as Director of Activity at Notre Dame puts the success down to the girls’ fitness and a marvellous team spirit.

Notre Dame Prep is looking forward to defending its crown as National Catholic Athletics Champions for the third year running in Sheffield later in the year.
