The Second Vatican Council in Rome in its decree on communications (Inter Mirifica) said that "the Church believes that its task involves employing the means of social communication to announce the good news of salvation.” This blog is part of that process by the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton to communicate that same good news about Jesus Christ.

Pre-Prep Easter Service
Barrow Hill school reports:
Pre-Prep children at Barrow Hills School in Witley celebrated Easter in their own special way on Tuesday afternoon with the Pre-Prep Easter Service.
The parents were wowed by some fantastic singing and speaking. Kindy started the service off and sang a dinosaur song, wearing their specially-made dinosaur hats. Year 2 led the service, and talked about spring customs including Lent, Mothering Sunday, and Easter. They wore their decorated egg hats.
Reception sang a song, wearing their spring-flower covered hats. The song was called ‘My Mum’s One in a Million’ - and there was not a dry eye in the house! Year 1 recited a spring poem – again with their own decorated hats. The children spoke and sang with all their hearts—it really was a wonderful afternoon.
