A Welcome to All New Catholics

The highlight of many parishes' Easter services was the baptisms and receptions into full communion in the Catholic Church of several hundred people. We also welcomed groups of former Anglicans mainly from Eastbourne as part of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walshingham into full communion.

The parish of The Sacred Heart, Wadhurst reports that:
"The highlight of Easter for our Parish and the Kent family was the reception of Clare, Thomas and William into full Communion during the Easter Vigil.  Noel Kent became a Catholic shortly after the family came to Wadhurst a decade ago when the boys were small and Clare his wife cites the Papal visit and our Parish Priest as vital in their conversion.  Clare says "Father Kevin has been a tremendous source of wisdom, guidance and inspiration, providing us with a wonderful insight into the teachings of the Catholic Church and its relevance to our lives".  The whole Parish welcomed and toasted them with champagne after the Easter Service."

Congratulations to one and all!
