Tony Tunstall from the Catenians reports:
"At the West Surrey Catenians dinner on the 1st May, President Mike Robins gave a cheque for £2000 to Dr. Matt Faircloth PhD MRCP, a Consultant Cardiologist at the nearby Frimley Park Hospital, to assist in the purchase of equipment for a second Cardiac Catheter Laboratory at the hospital. The cheque was the result of contributions to the President’s Charity during the past year.

Matt Faircloth used a screen presentation to show how angioplasty is used to save lives and alleviate problems in heart attack cases. This proved very interesting and there were many questions at the end – most members left in a reasonable optimistic mood!"

  1. It is great to see what good charitable work the Catenians do as well as the friendship and social support they offer to Catholic men and their families and children.
