Jubilee Celebration in Holy Redeemer Parish

Holy Reedmer, Hollington
The parish of Holy Redeemer in Hollington, East Sussex in the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton write about their forthcoming celebrations:
"We have been very busy over the past 3 months preparing for our Parish Golden Jubilee. This event is to be celebrated on the 24 June, with Bishop Kieran Conry presiding at Mass with our parish priest, Father Ian Byrnes, and several previous parish priests and friars. Our various Ministries have been hard at work to ensure that the liturgy, church, choir, and flowers are ready for the day.

The parish hall is being turned into a display area for a kaleidoscope of photographs, not to forget a marvellous finger buffet which will be prepared by our Community Development team and many volunteers.

A special commemoration booklet has also been prepared for printing, which will provide both historical information and memories, and up to date activities in the parish. Many of our long standing parishioners have contributed to this.

An apostolic blessing has been granted to us, and this will be hung in the Church following our celebration Mass.
